We are growing and are looking for a Territory Sales representative to open a new market in the Springdale/Bentonville and southern Missouri area. This is an opportunity to build your territory from the ground up. You will be responsible for promoting our company's products and services and building relationships with new and existing accounts. ** 100% Remote**

The Territory Sales Representative role is a critical liaison between the customer and Amerisan, and relies on great teamwork internally with the Sales, Customer Service and Marketing Teams to exceed the expectations of our customers. Job Responsibilities include:

  • Provide excellent service and communication to internal and external customers to maintain quality of service, productivity and profitability
  • Gain new business in existing accounts through analytics and new customers
  • Call on qualified leads in addition to cold call
  • Follow-up with customers to ensure their needs and account compliance requirements are met
  • Participate and use your skills, knowledge and experience in meetings and strategy sessions
  • Work with inside sales on any customer/prospect quotes and proposals and maintain case management goals
  • Navigation of ERP, CRM and business processes to manage, support and facilitate customers’ orders and needs
  • Gain a good understanding of the food industry, prospects' and clients' associated needs, and Amerisan's product mix to bring further value to customers

Education Level:

Associates Degree or equivalent experience.

Must Haves

  • 3-5 years of outside sales experience
  • Must have a Great Attitude and be a team player with the ability to facilitate communication internally and externally.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to plan and manage time effectively.
  • Translate strategic direction into daily activities and execution.
  • Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor with minimal supervision.
  • Outside the box thinker/problem solver.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Good To Have

  • Experience with NetSuite
  • Previously worked within or supported the food industry
  • Experience with CRM/ERP software
