The Environmental Services Project Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day safety, cost, adherence to specifications, schedule, and production on the project site. The primary focus is on maintaining a safe working environment for the crew, visitors, and the site itself. In addition to safety of the site the Project Supervisor will be responsible for containing spills, cleaning up impacted areas, remediating, and backfilling spill sites. Effective communication with the client and crew is crucial, emphasizing a constructive and cordial approach. This role includes an on-call rotation with other supervisors to ensure prompt response to environmental incidents.

Education Level:

High School Diploma/GED

Must Haves

  • a. Prioritize and maintain a paramount focus on safety for all personnel and the site.
  • b. Understand and perform the job descriptions of Operators and Laborers.
  • c. Identify and address potential hazards promptly.
  • d. Accurately input daily time and submit a detailed daily log.
  • e. Attend the "Daily Call In" at 3 pm (Mon-Fri) for schedule updates and job discussions.
  • f. Ensure expense reports and credit card receipts are coded correctly and submitted weekly.
  • g. Reading and comprehending plans, specifications, and project scope of work.
  • h. Maintain professional, constructive, and cordial communication with clients, crew, vendors,
  • subcontractors, and ERC management.
  • i. Plan and organize workdays in advance to enhance crew productivity.
  • j. Notify the Project Manager immediately of any out-of-scope work or uncertainties regarding the
  • project's scope.
  • k. Report all equipment damage and accidents promptly for investigation.
  • l. Previous experience in environmental services or equivalent preferred.
  • m. High School and Vocational Training completion.
  • n. Valid Driver’s License for vehicle/machinery operation.
  • o. Understanding of signals used to communicate with construction machinery operators.
