About Us

Our History Craddock Insurance Services, Inc. was established in 1984 by C. Herbert Craddock, a native of Charlottesville. Before starting his agency, Herb was already well-known in the Charlottesville community. During the prior 20 years, Herb had helped countless people by selling them life and property insurance for Prudential. All the years of experience he gained serving and helping others went into forming Craddock Insurance Services, Inc. In 1994 Herb hired his son Chic to join the rapidly growing business. On January 1, 2009, Chic became the President and CEO of the agency after spending over 15 years learning about the business and working in its various positions. He has continued to run the agency in a fashion that our old and new clients can depend on. Company Expansion In April 2020, Miguel Coradine of Sirius Insurance joined forces with Craddock Insurance to actively grow and serve even more people in Charlottesville and its surrounding communities. Miguel specializes in helping both the English and Spanish-speaking communities alongside his wife, Karolina.
