Summary

We are looking for a Repair Supervisor 3rd Shift to ensure proper and consistent meeting of repair requirements and responsibilities for hourly employees, equipment, and materials.

Type of Work: Full-Time

Schedule: 3rd Shift M-F 9 pm-7 am

• Have a genuine passion for coaching, training, and leadership
• Possess an understanding of railcar or repair equipment operations
• Demonstrate capability to manage challenging conditions while upholding a strong safety ethic
• Have an eye for detail

Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate hourly employees in repair activities
• Ensure safe work habits and conditions through training and reviews
• Direct subordinates’ daily activities and maintain their job cards
• Advising the Repair Manager for process enhancements while maintaining standards
• Support the Quality Assurance Department efforts by ensuring compliance with all OSHA, AAR, FRA, company, and customer requirements
• Overseeing inventory levels, participating in audits, and contributing to Production Meetings providing the status of rail cars in process
• Participate in employee interviews, new hire orientation training, and employee performance evaluations
