Summary

We are seeking an Entry Level Valve Technician to join our team and provide construction, repair and support for our products.

We offer full training and great benefits from day one!

Type of Work: Hourly

Schedule: We are hiring for two shifts based on your availability and preferences.

1st Shift M-F 7am-3:30pm

2nd Shift M-F 3:30pm-11:30pm

If You:

  • Are a handyman passionate about finding out how things work and repairing them
  • Mechanically inclined and willng to learn different tasks
  • Have the ability to work in adverse conditions and a comitment to safety
  • Have an eye for detail

Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain mechanical regulating and controlling devices, safety and flow valves.
  • Disassembles and assembles fittings on tank cars
  • Test and rebuild the valve to reveal possible defects

Education Level:

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.

  • Ability to use a variety of tools and heavy equipment
  • Ability to perform physical activities required to do the job
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work with a team
  • Willingness to learn and obtain railcar certifications
  • Pass drug screen and physical

Good To Have

  • Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in the repair process
  • Previous experience in a similar position is preferred but not required

¤24.00 - ¤27.00  Hourly
